Job Description

Hanover Foods Corporation in Ridgely, Maryland is currently seeking Productions Workers on 1st and 2nd shift. Production Workers are responsible for performs basic duties safely and efficiently during the daily production runs.


Job Requirements

Responsibilities:


  • Performs duties as an inspector, box filler, box closer, box maker, scale operator, dumper and a palletizer
  • Reports any product, questionable in quality, to Quality Assurance, Lead or Plant Management immediately
  • Always keeps areas clean and orderly
  • Must not leave assigned area unless permission is given by Lead, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Management
  • Responsible for supporting the SQF Program within the scope of the job function
  • Adheres to common safety practices and rules, including wearing protective equipment and clothing as required
  • Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Food Safety and Plant Security requirements to ensure high product integrity
  • Assists in looking to make continuous improvements to the procedures and operations plant wide
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Lead, Production Supervisor, Quality Assurance and/or Plant Management

Qualifications:

  • No specialized knowledge or experience required; however, must be able to work with the Lead and Plant management
  • 2nd shift: must have flexible schedule, work is until finish
